Is the next generation of precipitated extenders. With its micro-fine particle size, high barium sulfate content, low solubility, high brightness and chemical inertness, BF is ideal for applications such as topcoats, printing inks, powder coatings and lead-acid batteries as well as many others.
They have a high density, a low oil absorption, and a low refractive index. Barytes are radiopaque, and they are UV light reflectors. Unique properties of fine grind, high brightness and chemical inertness. In automotive primers and topcoats, gloss enamels. In powder coatings, semi-gloss and gloss latexes. In industrial and architectural coatings. In many plastics, ceramics, friction materials, and rubber goods. In plastisols, adhesives, latex products, urethane foams. Used in automotive primers, automotive topcoats, high gloss enamel, powder coatings, semi gloss latexes, gloss latexes, industrial coatings, architectural coatings, maintenance coatings and industrial primers. Offers fine grind, high specific gravity, low solubility, high brightness and chemical inertness. Performs well in high solids, solvent and water borne applications. Possesses high density, low oil absorption, and low refractive index.
High purity white barite. Used in high gloss and semi-gloss enamels, primers, inks, and other applications where a smooth surface is required and/or where abrasion may be an issue. Offers fine grind, high specific gravity, low solubility, high brightness and chemical inertness. Performs well in high solids, solvent and water borne applications.
