Covanta Energy Corp. and EMCO Chemical Distributors, Inc. have formed a strategic alliance. EMCO's Waste Services Division has relocated its drum processing equipment to the tipping floor of Covanta's Energy Corp. Niagara Falls, NY waste energy facility. This alliance creates the only waste to energy incinerator in the United States capable of processing any RCRA non-hazardous waste in any type of container. Steel drums and tote bins full of waste can now be efficiently processed and destroyed via incineration. A joint waste stream approval process is also in place.
