The Facility is regulated as a solid waste Facility by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR)

July 1997
On July 11, 1997 the IEPA issued a permit to Operate the EMCO Special Waste Transfer Station, Permit No. 1996-317-DE, 1997-197-OP. (This operation permit has been modified from time to time by the IEPA at the request of EMCO)

January 2002
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) issued Permit. Permit number FID230 28590 0 (see exhibit 1)

June 2002
North Chicago Special Waste Transfer Facility was closed and taken through closure required by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA)

December 2002
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency issued a "Certificate of Closure"
